Pipe Wiz privacy policy

Pipe Wiz is made by Kaivora LLC. This page says what the app does with information. It is short because the app does very little with it.
What stays on your iPhone
- The numbers you type and the results.
- Your saved jobs.
- Your settings (units, rounding, weld gap).
We never receive these, unless you include your last calculation in a feedback message (see below). They are not sent anywhere else, and there is no account or cloud copy. If you delete the app, they are gone.
What is sent, and to whom
1. Purchases: Apple and Superwall
Payments are made through Apple. We never see your card or your Apple Account.
To show plans, process Pipe Wiz plan purchases and know which plan a phone has, the app uses a service called Superwall. Superwall receives:
- an ID made for your copy of the app (not your name, email or Apple Account);
- an ID your iPhone gives to all apps from the same developer;
- your iPhone model, iOS version, language, region and time zone;
- your country and city, worked out from your internet address;
- which plan you unlock and whether it is active, and when you saw or used the plan screens;
- the app version, when it was installed, and when you open the app;
- which of our App Store ads you came from, if any (the campaign and search word, from Apple).
It is used to unlock the plan you choose and keep it up to date, to count how many people view and buy plans, and to see which of our ads bring people to Pipe Wiz. Superwall may also use it to fix and improve its own service. It is not sold, and it is not used to show you ads.
Superwall does not receive the numbers you type or your saved jobs.
In the European Union, the rest of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, Superwall does not start until you allow it. The app asks the first time you go to see plans or restore a purchase. If you choose Not now, nothing is sent to Superwall and the free tools work as normal; you cannot buy or restore Pro until you allow it. You can change your choice any time in the app’s Settings, under Data permissions.

2. Feedback: only when you press Send
If you send us a message from Settings > Send feedback, we receive:
- your message and the type you chose;
- your email address, only if you typed one, and only so we can reply;
- your app version and iPhone model, only if that box is ticked;
- your last calculation, only if that box is ticked.
The form shows you exactly what will be added before you send. The message is delivered to our support inbox by email, through Cloudflare and Resend. Your internet address is used for a moment to stop one sender flooding the form, and is not kept with the message. The message is not kept on your iPhone after it is sent.
What we do not do
- No ads inside the app.
- No selling or renting of information.
- No accounts, so we do not know who you are unless you tell us in a feedback message.
- No access to your location services, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
How long things are kept
- Feedback messages: kept in our support inbox for as long as needed to answer you and fix the problem. You can ask us to delete your message at any time.
- Purchase information held by Superwall: kept while Pipe Wiz uses Superwall’s service. You can ask us at any time to have your record deleted.
Your choices
- You can use Rolling offset and Simple offset without buying anything.
- You do not have to send feedback, and the email box is optional.
- To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email support@kaivorallc.com. If your request is about purchase information, include the Purchase ID shown at the bottom of the Settings screen in the app (tap it to copy), so we can find your record. We have no other way to tell which record is yours.
- To cancel a plan: iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland
Who is responsible
Kaivora LLC, 971 US Highway 202N, Ste N, Branchburg, New Jersey 08876, United States, decides how this information is used (the “controller”). Superwall (Nest 22, Inc., United States) handles purchase information on our behalf, under a written data processing agreement.
Why we are allowed to use it
- Which plan you have, and the ID for your copy of the app. To give you the Pro tools you paid for and to restore them. Legal basis: carrying out our contract with you.
- Your iPhone model, iOS version, language, region, country and city, and when you saw the plan screens, and which of our ads you came from. To see whether the plan screens and our ads work, and to fix problems. Legal basis: your permission, given in the app before Superwall starts, which you can withdraw any time in Settings.
- A feedback message, and your email if you gave one. To read it and reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you; you choose to send it.
Where it goes
Superwall stores and handles this information mainly in the United States. For transfers out of the EU, UK and Switzerland, our agreement with Superwall includes the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK addendum to them. Feedback messages are delivered through Cloudflare and Resend, also in the United States.
Your rights
You can ask us to: tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy; correct it; delete it; stop or limit how we use it; or hand it to you in a form you can take elsewhere. You can withdraw your permission in the app’s Settings, and you can object to uses based on our legitimate interest. Email support@kaivorallc.com. We answer within one month. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
We do not make decisions about you by automated means that have a legal or similarly significant effect.
Children
Pipe Wiz is a work tool for pipefitters. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets that age).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
